After trying a bunch, I have settled on Lightspeed as the best SFF podcast - both in terms of the content and (especially) the quality of the readers. Asimov, Analog, F&SF are still the most prestigious, on account of being in print, and get tens of thousands of submissions each year.
7 paź 2009 · I have picked out 10 notable science fiction pulps that all sci fi fans would appreciate. 1. Amazing Stories (1926-2005) August 1927 issue. Amazing Stories has the distinguishing quality of being the first magazine dedicated solely to science fiction.
Out of all the science fiction and fantasy magazines that are no longer in print, which do you miss the most? For me it's Realms of Fantasy. Their stories were always well-written and very colorful and imaginative.
2 maj 2019 · I subscribe and read many of the current SF magazines, while also systematically reading through all the annual best-SF-of-the-year collections, as well as anthologies that cover the complete history of science fiction.
For the free online stuff, Neil Clarke's Clarkesworld is probably the best, followed closely by John Joseph Adams's Lightspeed. (Clarkesworld is almost pure SF while *Lightspeed has an even mix of SF and Fantasy.) Andy Cox's UK-based Interzone deserves a special mention.
