Place the concept/term in the center and have branches out to other key connected ideas, terms, or concepts, and under each of these list associated words, expressions, or concepts. Two examples are shown below. Record the word in the center oval. Write a definition of the word. Enter facts or characteristics of the word. Show examples of the word.
Math teachers and mathematicians use special jargon to specify what kind of work is being asked for, and a lot of the time the verb in the question is the key to knowing what to do. Some verbs are quite simple — if you’re asked to list, graph, convert, explain... these instructions should be clear. Other instructions are worth a bit of commentary:

Select Vocabulary Terms: Identify the relevant math words based on the grade level and topic you're focusing on. Design the Worksheet: Create a visually appealing layout and organize the activities logically. Incorporate examples, definitions, and contextual sentences to enhance comprehension.
Students engage with the text that the teacher has provided. Students write the words into a table or in their workbook after they have engaged with the text. Teachers model their own example to share with students. An example from Mathematics Standard has been included. Teachers could pre-select the ten words.
