   20 maj 2020 · If you buy HDD for your printer model it will have loaded firmware on it. Those disks from HP are secured and data on them are encrypted, and the prices is higher. You can install standard disk, but you will need to format and load firmware on in, and data will not be secured as they would be on an original disk from HP.
