You'll essentially need to max your secondaries every turn, which is difficult to do with a guard vehicle army. Additionally, Krieg is (ironically) one of the worst regiments for tanks and artillery. The death shots on the vast majority of these vehicles will be at 6+ to hit, which won't buy you much.
