How to enable dead cells mods. 1. At the first screen you see when you start the game, go to options. 2. Click on gameplay. 3. Scroll down to bottom, check box activate mod interface. 4. Go back to the first screen you see when you start up the game from steam.
This method isn't the fastest, but it's what I use. Go to the dead cells folder, then into mod tools. Make a new folder called "base assets". (It can be named anything really) Then go back to the dead cells folder and copy the file "res.pak" and paste it into the base assets folder you made.
