Fourteen Blue Knights softball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, baseball and basketball players have been nominated for NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Awards. Marki Struensee serves as the college’s athletic coordinator. Marki oversaw the nomination process for all six NJCAA teams at DCTC.

DCTC Blue Knights Baseball wrapped up the 2022 season at the Region 13 Playoffs at Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana. Tyler Steimer (FR., Catcher, Rosemount, MN) was named to the NJCAA Division 2 Baseball All-Region 13 team.
The Blue Knights baseball team at Dakota County Technical College swept a doubleheader vs Rochester Community & Technical College Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 4-3 and 6-4, at home at Ames Fields on the college’s campus in Rosemount, Minnesota. The Blue Knights are 18-7 as of May 3, 2023.

27 lip 2021 · Blaine Barthel, a former pitching coach for IMG Academy, has been named the new head coach for the Blue Knights baseball team at Dakota County Technical College. Barthel succeeds Matt Erzar, who started his coaching duties at DCTC in 2016.
