Compare three DC motor control techniques for tracking setpoint commands and reducing sensitivity to load disturbances.
24 wrz 2019 · In this paper, a new technique called Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) is used to control the position of a DC motor. The main idea behind ADRC is to use an estimation of the disturbances and the unmodeled dynamics of the plant and cancel these to obtain a controlled plant.
22 wrz 2019 · In this post, we explain how to model a DC motor and to simulate control input and disturbance responses of such a motor using MATLAB’s Control Systems Toolbox. We obtain a state-space model of the system.
12 mar 2020 · The experiments performed on DC motor plant start from a steady-state at setpoint 3000 RPM, then a setpoint step change is made from 3000 RPM to 4000 RPM. After the process output is stabilized at 60 s, the input disturbance is applied by subtracting 0.5 V from the control signal.

Abstract—In this paper, a direct current (DC) motor speed control system with proportional-integral-derivative (PID) con-troller and Kalman filter is presented with consideration of disturbance, system variation, and feedback sensor noise and verified through computer simulations. Initially, a mathematical model for a DC motor system is ...
State and fault estimation for discrete time-varying descriptor stochastic systems with parameter uncertainty is investigated in this paper. The problem can play a significant role in several applications, e.g. model-based fault detection and isolation (FDI) problem [1–8] and fault tolerant control problem [9–12].
