PartyElite is a good example - focuses on a genre but not over-focused on a single game, and gets his message across without seeming desperate for subscribers. JoshStrifeHayes puts out interesting, thoughtful MMO-related content. And Razbuten is just brilliant.
He is not the biggest channel and he is not the most professional (I guess). He has strong opinions about certain things but I can always tell if I'd like a game after watching his review. Also he is hilarious if you like his type of humour :). I actually look forward to bad games so I can see him review them.
