So quarantine made me watch anime again and I've missed quite a lot of shows that pertains to anything that is dark. What I've seen so far is Jojo's, AoT, Tokyo Ghoul and Death note. Can you suggest something that is similar from the latter?

For any of you guys who haven't seen a lot, but are out there also looking for dark-ish anime series, a few series that I have watched, as well as many people down here have recommend are Ergo Proxy, Steins;Gate, Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), Deathnote and Psycho-Pass.
Shinsekai Yori is pretty bleak. The best and worst part about this anime is that it leaves the most horrifying parts unsaid, and for the viewer to sort of piece together. It's so much more horrifying of a story than it seems, and that makes it incredible. The entire anime from start to finish is unsettling.
