For the last week, every YouTube video I try to view in the Kodi YouTube app, generates the following error: "The following content is not available on this app." Consistently, no ifs, no buts. What I've tried:
Don't think you can, but this is one of the reasons I switched from Windows to the Shield. You can add the native Android apps to the favorites or as shortcuts on the main screen and just launch them from there. Then when you exit the app, you're back in Kodi. Works good for SmartYouTube and Amazon. 1.
I had luck with a different account & api keys for a couple weeks but it finally broke again for me yesterday. Using the code fix suggested here: https://github.com/anxdpanic/plugin.video.youtube/issues/442#issuecomment-1516245701 I was back up and running in just a few minutes.
