22 sty 2019 · This post discusses and provides an example of how to calculate Damage per Second (DPS) for a typical melee equipment setup. For a long time, I have been interested in the method used to calculate DPS in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) using specific equipment against a specific monster.
Something to simulate minimum hits, maximum hits and average damage like it would do on a dummy, with different weapons/combinations of gear, but without having those items in game? The wiki feels a bit convoluted and doesn't really give me what I'm looking for.
Over the weekend i was inspired to build the amazing Bitterkoekje/koekenpan DPS calculation spreadsheet into an online tool that was a bit easier to use. I'm happy to announce its now 99% this calculator and would love to get some feedback from the community around bugs/features etc.
The OsRs calculators have been brought up to date, given a Twisted League XP mode and I've added a Wintertodt Damage and Hunter Skill calculator. Of particular note is the addition of variable xp training methods, such as the Book of Arcane Knowledge for Runecrafting.
