Hawa Mahal, also known as ‘Palace of Winds’, was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 A.D. Ustad Lal Chand was the designer of the palace. The palace was designed in the form of Lord Krishna’s crown. There are 953 small windows in the palace, known as ‘Jharokhas’.
