13 kwi 2023 · Hold the big bent end and place the small bend in the hole in the cable wheel of the push cable, now you have a lever to rotate the wheel against the throttle spring and easily hold it while you insert the pull cable.
21 maj 2012 · Yesterday the push cable has broken, so I decided to replace either, push and pull. On the service manual there is no procedure to do it. I know where the cables go, but there is some advice to make the job easier?
19 paź 2011 · you shouldn't need to pull the carbs at all -- the cables run to a mixing box across on the left side of the bike (easy way to find the box is to follow the cruise-control actuator cable). All under the left inner fairing. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a good link to a procedure.
6 cze 2007 · I've changed a couple sets of throttle cables and find it reasonably easy to do on the 1100 if you take the air box and top cover off. I wouldn't replace just the one cable though, the other cable has been used as long as the one that broke.
17 lis 2014 · I have a Clymer manual, and no where in the manual is there a section on replacing throttle cable, by the way, I have no other choice but to repair myself.

19 paź 2011 · You need to remove the console, false tank side panels and move the air box out of the way to replace the throttle cables. Just be glad it isn't a broken choke cable, you have to move the carbs rack to get at that.
