The Vz. 52 is a semi-automatic rifle manufactured from 1952-1959. It is chambered in 7.62x45mm M52, a round longer than 7.62x39, but ballistically similar. This round was developed by Czechoslovakia after WWII when they saw the need for an intermediate rifle cartridge.
