This CURT reducer sleeve adapter converts a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver tube opening to a 2" x 2" opening. It installs easily and is compatible with virtually any 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" hitch. Its gross trailer weight capacity and tongue weight capacity are limited to the hitch.
Adapting a heavy-duty 3" receiver hitch to fit your 2-1/2" and 2" accessories is fast and simple with the CURT reducer sleeve set. This set includes two sleeves: a larger unit for 3" receiver tube openings and a smaller unit for 2-1/2" receiver tube openings.

Step 1. Insert adjustable shank (#2) into receiver tube on tow vehicle and secure with hitch pin & clip (#11, #12). NOTE: To obtain proper ball height on high ground clearance vehicles, shank may be inverted as shown in Figure 3. If shank is used in the inverted position, check for adequate ground clearance.

You will need a Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer # C45408 on your 2020 Ford F-250 with the 3" hitch. This will give you a sleeve adapter to reduce your 3" receiver to either a 2-1/2" receiver or 2" receiver.
