Write a matching GML compiler, so that edits of high-level code are possible. Add support for other bytecode versions, at least for bytecode 14 so that Undertale 1.00 can be opened as well. Add support for YYC games - you won't be able to edit code, but everything else should technically work.

draw_sprite_color(SpritemapInterface, 0, 1, (2 + menu_cursor)); iirc Undertale also uses key commands and stuff to equip/unequip items and you don't use the mouse for anything like in the video. but the idea is the same: Code: /* example of equipping items for this type of inventory */.
Game Maker has to account for all kinds of games being made (including but not limited to all of Undertale), so GML would have to be a bit more versatile. We just have to account for Undertale, so Lua should be fine. The actual engine is made with Unity in C#.
