5 mar 2022 · I CANNOT in any way, shape or form, change the Install Location for any game I install to a different folder. Every single game installs to the "WindowsApps" folder. Even once installed, I am unable to move the location of the game.

I created an "XboxGames" folder directly in C: drive. Then I went to the Gamepass "Settings", then "General", then change the folder to where apps install by default to C" Drive, and left the option below as "C:\XboxGames."
18 mar 2022 · Under Game install options, change your default installation folder. As you might have already guessed, this changes the location for all of your installed games.
I just had the issue with a Minecraft Launcher update. Check the folder that the game is installed in and compare that to the default location for game installs. If they don't match, go to Manage and move the game to the same base location as your default install location.
