20 lis 2018 · Extract the files so that the files (esp, bsa, etc.) and the folders (meshes, textures, sounds, etc.) are in the Oblivion data folder (\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data). Activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp/esm. You have now installed a mod. Congratulations!
However, Oblivion is in program files, and it looks like the MO2 exe is in the Oblivion folder. So... do I need to actually reinstall or move Oblivion first, then reinstall MO2? Where should I put them so they're more safe from Windows?
27 mar 2016 · First try running the .exe file through the installation folder rather than Steam. Be sure to check that is being run as an adminstrator, especially if you have mods installed. If the launcher is still stuck, then you can either try verifying the integrity of the game cache, (which is explained above), or running it through compatibility mode.

Those of you who find yourselves in this position can get around this issue by installing Change Console Key, an OBSE plugin that adds a setting in the Oblivion.ini which you can switch to whichever key you want.
