11 gru 2017 · I had posted last month asking about recommended ammo to try in my LNIB S2 Vanguard in .223 Rem. Well today I finally got it out to the range. The rifle is one of the older 1:12 twist barrel S2's which had originally caused me some concern since I want to use it for shooting out to 500 yds.
26 mar 2010 · I have a Weatherby Vanguard Sub-MOA in .223 Rem on order. I'd like to hear what loads are working for other people shooting this rifle...especially interested to hear what powders are recommended. I can't wait to get my hands on this and start shooting it!

19 cze 2012 · After such a good experience I deceided to go out and get a 223 rem in a S2 as well and topped it with a Elite 3200 5-15. I had a bunch of rounds loaded already with Varget and 55gr blitzkings that I figured I would try out of it to start.

19 mar 2013 · Overall, the 115-grain Ballistic Tip loading turned in the best average group accuracy at 1.21 inches, but the 100-grain TSX load was just 0.04 inch bigger. My best single three-shot group measured 0.75 inch and came with the 120-grain Partition load. Again, the 100-grain TSX came really close with a 0.77-inch best three-shot group.
14 maj 2014 · Like other Vanguard Series 2 rifles, the WBY-X line has a crisp, two-stage trigger that is adjustable down to 2.5 pounds. Some shooters think the Vanguard triggers have creep, and they have voiced these concerns to Weatherby.
