16 paź 2012 · Cubex are generally regarded as a premium high heat, low ash pellet so that price is average for this time of year. I personally had problems burning them in my stove but many folks love them. As usual, the correct answer is to try a few bags before buying bulk.
It’s a decent price for a good quality hardwood pellet. Would prefer to see them closer to $250, but sure would spring at $279 if needed some this time of season. Look at it this way, the boxes are getting $249 - $259 so an extra few bucks for cubex is fine.

6 gru 2008 · Every stove is different, every set up is different and every house is different. During the recent cold snap I was keeping the house above 70 burning the Cubex. Are there less expensive pellets that put out as much heat, if so I would like to know what they are?

Although on of my favorites 5 years ago. I hear that Cubex pellets are crap this year! So I would stay away from these pellets as they are just failing at every facet....
