16 paź 2012 · Cubex are generally regarded as a premium high heat, low ash pellet so that price is average for this time of year. I personally had problems burning them in my stove but many folks love them. As usual, the correct answer is to try a few bags before buying bulk.
It’s a decent price for a good quality hardwood pellet. Would prefer to see them closer to $250, but sure would spring at $279 if needed some this time of season. Look at it this way, the boxes are getting $249 - $259 so an extra few bucks for cubex is fine.
Both Cubex and Wood and Sons have a good reputation, and should be a good choice for you. I tried Northeast softwoods, and they were terrible. If you can get them, Vermont Softwoods are also supposed to be a pretty good choice.
22 mar 2020 · Cubex happens to be one of the best hardwood pellets out there. A large majority of our customers have better experiences with softwood pellets. Also there is the "top feed" vs. "bottom feed" thing.
