19 sie 2023 · I have found, however, that very often just bailing on the current scan and trying again will work. Sometimes I've been perpetually stuck, but that's a rare occurrence. I'd love to learn what other people may be using instead of the Crucial System Scanner.

The best thing to do here is open the system scan URL directly from edge to download the scan tool. Once it's downloaded, launch it directly from the browser's download manager. Works perfectly.
19 sie 2023 · It opens the program (portable), scans the system, and gives a button to then open the browser, confirm the selection of the system, and check the results. In my case it correctly identified that my laptop is already using maximum amount of RAM supported for the system and gave me compatible SSD upgrade options.

10 maj 2023 · I've been using and loving the Crucial System Scanner for years. But increasingly (and as mentioned elsewhere such as this thread from 6 months ago) running it even on popular PCs that are several years old causes it to fail with errors like this: https://i.imgur.com/TI1SIUb.png. Are others experiencing the same problems?
