12 sie 2013 · Going through the cropping tips solved the problem: 1. Insert shape and rotate to desired position. 2. Use Format > Fill > Fill with picture. 3. De-select "Rotate with shape." Click OK. 4. Go to Format Picture > Crop and select "Crop to Fill" and position the way you need it. Thanks!

6 sie 2013 · In past versions of Powerpoint I was able to rotate an image then crop the image. The crop box would remain level to the horizon. I could take an image of a smile that was canted. Straighten the canted teeth level to the horizon, crop the image to remove the canted margins so the image was a complete square again.
6 lut 2018 · Flip the image, itself, Horizontal. Apply the Crop to Shape. Flip the cropped shape Horizontal again. Another method of doing the same thing [but a bit less precise*] is to apply the Crop to Shape, then drag one of the middle side handles through the image & out the other side.
Customize your image: To change the shape, select Crop Shape. The shape is immediately applied to your image. If you want to fill the entire shape with the picture, select Crop > Fill. Some outer edges of the picture might be cropped away. There won't be any empty space at the margins of the shape.
