8 kwi 2019 · I decided to use Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor brass for these tests because it had case neck thickness consistency of ~0.0002″, and 6.5 Creedmoor bullets have a long protrusion from the case which helps get more accurate bullet seating concentricity values.

26 lip 2018 · The brass is very thick, not particularly consistent and the case volume is comparable to Lapua. The alloy is very hard and needs to be annealed every firing to full length size with consistency. Mandrel was a necessity to avoid shaving bullets when seating.

7 gru 2017 · As most of you reloaders know that Lapua has one of the best brass out there and its what I use as well as Norma. I do not want to switch to a small rifle primer for the 6.5 Creedmoor and Lapua do not offer LR primer for it, but came across a few names that have popped up such as Peterson Brass and Alpha Munitions.
