1 cze 2001 · I'm assuming you've tried tweaking all the tone knobs on the Crates. When I first plugged in the 125 it sounded great...then the salesman started messing with the knobs and it DID sound pretty bad. (he's a Bass player) After he left I adjusted them back and got a real nice tight punchy sound.
26 cze 2001 · So that started me on my quest for the best, cost efficient acoustic amp. I wanted something that would give me a wide array of sounds as well as a true sound. This amp fits the bill.

If you think it would look good sitting there, buy it. If you plan on using it, take it into their "quiet" room and play it. Some people took issue with hiss from the tweeter. See if the tweeter-level control on the back tames the hiss. I have the rack mount version of the preamp (CA1PD).
