1 cze 2001 · (he's a Bass player) After he left I adjusted them back and got a real nice tight punchy sound. Very crisp highs, NO feedback. I was facing the amp at arms length and had it cranked.
26 cze 2001 · So that started me on my quest for the best, cost efficient acoustic amp. I wanted something that would give me a wide array of sounds as well as a true sound. This amp fits the bill.
See if the tweeter-level control on the back tames the hiss. I have the rack mount version of the preamp (CA1PD). I've used different CA1PD's and they have all been very quiet. So if the combos' tweeters have a hiss issue, I'd have to assume it's originating in their amplification circuit.
4 wrz 2019 · I have a very simple gig setup using my old Crate CA-125D all-in-one acoustic amp (on an amp stand) for both my acoustic and vocals. Mostly coffeehouse, small restaurant type venues (outside on occasion).
I found a crate CA-125 for sale and it looks great. Sounds great, too, for vocals and acoustic guitar. Wondering if I could use the second instrument input for bass guitar. Does anyone know if this would work? Would it damage the amp?
