10 sie 2021 · Simply put, a load chart is a summary of what a crane can and cannot do. It gives a brief overview of the crane’s capabilities and goes over the cranes’ features and characteristics, including the loads it can handle given certain specifications — lift height, lift angle, etc.

The questions on your assessment will be different from these but will be presented in the same format as these questions. Following the questions are load charts and jib rating charts.
LOAD RADIUS IS THE HORIZONTAL DISTANCE FROM THE CENTER OF ROTATION OF THE UNLOADED CRANE TO THE VERTICAL LOAD LINE WITH THE LOAD APPLIED. EXCEEDING CAPACITY RATINGS OR APPLYING SIDE LOADS TO THE BOOM OR BOOM EXTENSION IS MISUSE, HAZARDOUS, AND VOIDS WARRANTY. DS MUST NOT EXCEED MAIN BOOM CAPACITY. DO NOT PICK. AND CARRY WITH BOOM EXTEN.
Load ratings shown on the load rating charts are maximum allowable loads with the outriggers properly extended on a firm, level surface and the crane leveled and mounted on a factory recommended truck. Always level the crane with the level indicator located on the crane.
