Critically Conscious Educators Rising (CCER) is a gathering of like-minded educators who are committed to equity, justice, and healing in education for racially, culturally and linguistically diverse students, and students with disabilities.
Culturally responsive-sustaining (CR-S) education is grounded in a cultural view of learning and human development in which multiple expressions of diversity are recognized and regarded as assets for teaching and learning.
The NYS CRS Implementation Roadmap has been designed to assist and support districts and educators with the implementation of these important key principles and the CRS Framework. The Roadmap links to pertinent guidance and resources that are provided throughout the roadmap.
