I've ordered an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard but shortly after I noticed that it says in its manual that BOTH 8-pin cpu power cables need to be plugged into it. The manual doesn't mention anything about one being optional. Well the issue is my PSU only has one 4+4 cpu connector.

13 cze 2020 · The 4+4 can be plugged into the 8 pin EPS connector. The 8 pin connector is good for up to around 320-350 watts. If you're not gonna overclock the processor, your processor is not gonna get close to this value. The 4 pin connector can be left unused, it would be nice if you use it but it's not a must. The 6+2 are for pci-e cards.
