1 wrz 2020 · CPP offers new control arm assemblies for many makes and models, including our early GM A-body. Installation is still labor intensive, as the tight fitment of the lower control arms requires special care and the splined upper control arm bolts can cause a headache if not properly removed.
11 sie 2012 · I was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this issue before and has any way of installing coil springs into the tubulars that works. I tried just using a jack while the car is lifted and the lower arm is completely open. It didn't work and it scratched up my control arm and coil.
1 lut 2022 · When using drop spindles, the brake calipers can come in contact with the upper control arms during steering. To remedy this problem, we suggest using part numbers 31948 and 31947 which will rotate the brake calipers out of the way.
29 wrz 2021 · I bought some Tubular A Arms for the 68. The 1st issue was that I wasn't aware they had a drop pocket so the car was sitting way too low in the front. For the fix, I bought some spring spacers. The next issues is the car no longer turns hardly at all.

11 wrz 2012 · The upper control arms are made from 1-1/4-inch x .120-inch wall and the lower is 1-1/2-inch x .120 wall D.O.M. tubing. The pivot barrels are thick 1-1/2-inch .188-inch wall D.O.M. tubing to eliminate distortion from welding and hard use.
