7 mar 2011 · Re: Costco Marine Battery I was at a Cabels store yesterday and was checking out the batteries. They have a good assortment of wet-gell&AWG batteries. I was surprised to see CCA rating on AWG batteries, thought it would be AMP ratings only. Their prices were about the same as most auto/marine stores.

In many instances the only difference between a Costco Battery and a Sam's battery, (or for that matter between boat store A and boat store B) is the pretty label. Costco and Sam's sell cheap because they can buy by the freight-car load, or down-spec the product in some way to save another penny.
The Walmart ever start batteries consistently get good marks with consumers report. I just replaced a one year-old battery from Costco with one of those at Walmart. It has a four year replacement cost warranty.

29 maj 2019 · As was the case with marine starting batteries (see our report on the Top Rated Marine Starting Batteries), there is one deep cycle battery brand that dominates the rest – Interstate. Over one-third (34%) of boaters in our survey use Interstate Deep Cycle batteries for their trolling motors.
Anyone tried using one of those Costco brand Marine Deep Cycles for their van? I'm looking to put two 12v solar panels on mine, and the price difference between the ones they sell and the average recommend batteries is about a $300 difference. Just wondering if anyone's had experience with them.
