Copper roof caps allow for a nice transition along the roof line to the finial and can be made to fit any peak; including spun round caps, square hip caps, and octagonal caps with either a straight or scalloped edge. Custom copper roof caps can also be made upon request.
Here is the copper roof cap with the Lancelot finial in place. This shows the size proportions with 3 other roof caps for different clients. The Karpel's smaller turret roof cap that is 28" wide plus the points style tails, where the larger 18/12 pitch turret roof cap is made 37" wide plus tails.
The copper finial can be simple or decorated. It is constructed similar to Detail 13.4B (Conical Spire) . The flat seam panels are designed similar to flat seam roofing.
