30 paź 2009 · Cabanas Copal info. 15 years ago. Hi - We'd love to hear comments about Cabanas Copal. The c/o aspect of it appeals, but we're wondering how the beach is for swimming & afternoon walks. It sounds like it's somewhat rockier than the miles of pristine white sand down by Le Zebra.
Answer 1 of 9: Just returned to the cold and snow from 6 nights at beautiful Cabanas Copal in Tulum. We had a great time at the beach, the spa, and around the Hotel Zone and in Tulum. We also rented a car and visited Coba and took a guided tour of Sian Ka'an...
Most of cabanas copal is gone. They lost their lease and the majority of the cabanas are now owned by papaya playa. The remaining are rented out of the office at Azulik next door.

18 years ago. my family and i were in copal nov 25 to dec 3. we were in #21 seaview quad. none of the rooms are on the beach. the cabanas are located on a small cliff --10' above the beach. luxury camping is the best way to describe copal. you have you're own bathroom and your room gets cleaned everyday. we brought battery operated lanterns, ...
