My monitor doesn't have an audio jack, so I bought this HDMi to HDMI/audio splitter for $18 (the cheaper one). I plugged in the HDMI running from the Xbox into the splitter. It came with the audio cables needed to run the audio from the splitter to my PC, which i plugged into the "Line in" port.

If you have an Xbox One console, you can use the Optical audio output into a device that can support that input. Other solution would be to use a 3.5 mm (or a wireless Xbox compatible) headset, so you can listen to your game and voice chat functions.
22 wrz 2020 · An HDMI audio splitter (also called an 'extractor') should work. However be warned, most of cheaper splitters can't do 4K at 60Hz, shop wisely. Normally the 3.5mm audio port on a monitor should work fine with a set of decent speakers.
