Connect is UCSB’s messaging and collaboration service. The core components include e-mail, calendaring, and online drive storage, which are based on Google Workspace for Education.
To access UCSB Box from the mobile app on a cell phone or tablet: 1. Download the app from the app store. 2. Open the app and tap "Use Single Sign On" 2. Logging in creates your account. Box identifies UCSB users using UCSBNetID@ucsb.edu, but notification emails will be delivered to the user's primary UCSB account, whether that be a departmental or U-Mail address. In Box, you can 'share' in two different ways: use shared links and invite collaborators.
