Updating PM5 Firmware. There are various ways to update your firmware, depending on the age of your PM5. If your monitor meets the minimum threshold firmware version, using ErgData is the easiest and—being wireless—requires no additional equipment. We recommend trying that first.
Resolution: Our ErgData app can update PM5 monitor firmware via Bluetooth. Get the latest ErgData version from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Note: PM5 monitors need a minimum firmware for wireless updates. The app won't update monitors with older firmware.
21 lip 2022 · Download the Concept2 Utility to your computer, use a usb drive to get a copy of the latest firmware update using the utility, insert the usb drive into the back of the PM5, and follow the prompts. The ability to update using ergdata on your phone via bluetooth is supposed to be an upcoming feature.
5 cze 2023 · Here are the requirements: You’ll need the latest version of ErgData on your iOS or Android device. PM5 monitors require a minimum firmware version to update wirelessly. The ErgData app will offer an update for monitors with firmware above the minimum threshold firmware version.
To update, you can either install the free Concept2 Utility software on a Windows or Mac computer or you can use our ErgData app. Only monitors that meet a minimum firmware version can update using ErgData.
The Concept2 Utility is free software available from Concept2 that allows you to update the firmware in your Performance Monitor, upload your workouts to your Concept2 Online Logbook, and manage the data on your LogCard or USB flash drive.
5 cze 2023 · When you open ErgData and connect with your PM5, you'll be notified if your PM5 needs a firmware update. Tap on the PM5 ID (see red box in Step 1 below), then tap on More Info for instructions on how to proceed with the wireless firmware update.
