26 maj 2022 · In spring 2023, we’re launching a new self-service adult membership system. The aim is to make managing adult data easier and reduce admin, so that volunteers have more time to focus on delivering skills for life for young people.
This e-learning will show you how our volunteers can choose their own path and help the Scout Movement to create a better world. After completing this knowledge path, you will be able to get a better perspective on the stages of an Adult Volunteer life cycle.

We'll be moving our volunteer records from Compass to our new digital tools on scouts.org.uk. Most roles will directly move to one of our new teams, roles or accreditations. For volunteer roles which don't have a direct swap, there'll still be plenty of teams to join and make the most of your skills and interests.

What is Compass and why should I use it? Compass is the Scout Association Membership system in the UK. It holds all of the key details about the volunteering you do. This includes personal information, contact preferences, emergency contacts, activity permits, training records, DBS status and more.
