17 paź 2023 · I am considering a new Python. Some have issues, as do other new snake guns. People return them to Colt and Colt dutifully fixes them. But, what happens when they are out of the warranty? From what I have read on the Forum, Colt will not sell the parts to repair their guns, there are no aftermarket parts and MIM parts cannot be repaired.

11 gru 2023 · I’ve had my 2020 3” Python for 2 years now. It’s my carry gun, and I’ve put at least a few hundred rounds through it. I clean and oil it every time I finish up at the range, but I can’t seem to get rid of the carbon build-up around the forcing cone and on the cylinder.
18 sie 2023 · Knowing that magnum pistol primer's cups are thicker than standard pistol primer cups and that double action strikes are light in that Python, you should most definitely send it back to Colt for repair.
