Coldhands leads Bran and his companions to the cave of the three-eyed crow, his flock of ravens dwindling during the journey. Coldhands cannot enter the cave, but he fights off wights as Bran and his friends climb to the cave entrance.
6 maj 2013 · However Coldhands fights against the Whights and saves humans numerous times. First he saves Sam and Gilly, next he saves Bran and his party. If ColdHands is doing the opposite of the Others then it implies he isn't a whight controlled by them, but rather by the Cotf.
Coldhands has all the traits of a wight: he is cold, lifeless, with black hands that are as cold as ice. This coldness extends to his efficiency, as he is a skilled enough warrior to kill several AWOL members of the Night's Watch.
I will say that as far as I can tell Coldhands is never described in terms of size and I just went through and looked, albeit through a search of ice and fire so it's possible the keywords i was using missed a coldhands segment.

Can we talk about Coldhands. Who or What do you this he is? Spoilers abound. My bet that he is Benjen Stark, or possibly The Old Bear (Mormont).
