3 lut 2004 · I'm proud to own my Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri in Carbon V. I'm willing to bet that, ounce per ounce, there isn't a superior production kukri if we're talking performance. This is for two reasons: the steels used and the handle.
It's awful to see this, but I don't trust cold steel and this post bolsters my mistrust. I have the Kabar kukri and have used it hard (piecing out trees for firewood) for two years and no issues yet. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a new kukri.
13 lut 2009 · The Cold Steel Kukri machete opens itself up to a much wider spectrum of uses rather than just chopping, and will perform excellently in most environments. This knife, coupled with a small knife, can really get things done all over the US. Make no mistake, the other Kukris that Cold Steel and Himalayan Imports have are well worth their price.
21 gru 2014 · All better than Cold Steel, and about the price of this "machete" or less. I do have an old Cold Steel LTC Kukri, bought years ago as a second for half price, and I hate it. It's horrible. I can't even get rid of it, nobody else wants it.

It's the royal kukri MACHETE. Model 97kmigs. Definitely not the full size royal kukri.
