If you receive an email or Etsy Message you think is a scam, don’t reply to it. To report a scam Etsy Message, simply report it as spam. Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your Account. Go to Messages. Select the message. Choose Report Spam. You don’t need to let support agents know.

The scammers are now sending QR codes through Etsy messages claiming that you need to scan them in order to link to their verification website or some such thing. The QR code then leads to a fake "Etsy" site where the scammer will have you enter your credit card, bank information, and other personal data.
3 sty 2023 · I wondered about how to report potential scammer emails as well. According to the info in the link @ChristmasIsLove provided, just marking it as spam is enough. The message is also sent to Etsy where it is reviewed (and presumably handled).
