I have installed Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on my Windows machine. The single player mode works perfectly, but when I try to run COD4 Multiplayer it crashes on startup. Windows then shows the following error message: iw3mp.exe has stopped working. What can I do to fix this?

29 sie 2014 · When I launch single player it launches right up no problem, but when I launch multiplayer it just pops up with the COD4 logo and I just get the spinny wheel of death. I had this problem with Cod Ghosts multiplayer also. Is there any fix?
Game hangs and crashes when you go to make a new profile. Possible Fix: Go to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\miles and rename the mssp3.asi file to mssp3.bak
16 cze 2014 · My new gaming PC is having trouble, it doesn't open COD4 into the multiplayer screen, as it is crashing before it even gets there. Everytime I open up COD multiplayer it starts to run then it goes into a black screen and 10 seconds later it crashes and says look online for a solution.
