I have installed Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on my Windows machine. The single player mode works perfectly, but when I try to run COD4 Multiplayer it crashes on startup. Windows then shows the following error message: iw3mp.exe has stopped working. What can I do to fix this?
30 sty 2016 · I'm running it on Win 10 so it's certainly possible (even if game setup sometimes takes very long). Got the "iw3mp.exe has stopped working" after upgrading to Win 8.1 and inserting a plug in the microfone contact solved that problem.
i have recently had a problem with call of duty 4 modern warfare online (pc), each time I click on join server a message comes up saying iw3mp.exe has stopped working. I have tried nearly everything, so if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
Game hangs and crashes when you go to make a new profile. Possible Fix: Go to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\miles and rename the mssp3.asi file to mssp3.bak
21 wrz 2014 · This is the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.7 for Windows. It is the latest version available. There are two versions of the patch available: Retail and Direct2Drive. Note that the game requires Patch v1.6 to be already installed before upgrading to v1.7.
28 gru 2019 · here's the file to download, go in it and take the PB folder (inside the COD4 PB folder) and replace yours with it. Then inside the PB folder there's pbsetup, click it and remove the game that is showing. Then add new game and grab COD4 again. Don't click on update CoD4 PB.zip
