We found no evidence supporting a link between beta-blocker use and risk of myocardial infarction in subjects with cocaine-induced chest pain.

In this review, we critically evaluate the limited historical evidence underlying the current teachings on cocaine's cardiovascular effects and management of cocaine-associated chest pain.
