16 kwi 2016 · By itself the new cmd.exe actually does support Ctrl+v but whilst running bash, it doesn't. My workaround is to use ConEmu. It's much superior to cmd.exe alone and even gives you color highlighting when running bash. I've tested it and Ctrl+v does work. As a nice plus, you get a tabbed terminal.
In Windows Terminal, the CTRL+V shortcut is assigned to paste command by default. If you use Vim in Terminal, you can change the paste key binding in Terminal's Settings / Actions menu. (Or use the WSL/PowerShell/Command Promt etc... directly, instead of launching it from Terminal.)
25 cze 2016 · In windows I can paste the clipboard content using the key combination Ctrl + V. However if I try to achieve the same in Linux terminal using the same Ctrl + V key combination, I get the output: ^V.
12 wrz 2016 · For pasting text into the terminal, you can either use Ctrl+Shift+V or use your mouse's middle click if there is one. For copying text in the terminal, you can either use Ctrl+Shift+C or use your mouse to select the text of interest and then use its middle click to paste it.
Right-Clicking anywhere in the terminal window does the paste. In a regular shell session: I select with the mouse, and use Ctrl+Shift+C to COPY to clipboard. I use Ctrl+Shift+V to paste.
1 gru 2015 · Pressing Ctrl-C sends the ASCII code that is 64 below the uppercase letter's position in the ASCII table (and 96 less than the lowercase letter's position in the ASCII table). So pressing Ctrl - c (lowercase) sends ASCII code 3 (which is 64 less than capital C 's ASCII code of 67).
