Live lets you live stream events, performances and gatherings on Facebook. Viewers can watch from a phone, computer or connected TV. You can go live on Facebook from a profile, Page, group or event.
Before you can live stream to Facebook, you'll need to download streaming software. To create a live stream on Facebook: Go to https://www.facebook.com/live/create. Click Create Live Stream. Choose where you want to post your live broadcast. Click Selectfrom Go Livemodule.
You can go live on Facebook from your personal profile, a group, an event or a Page.
You can live stream to your Page, group, profile, or event via the Facebook app on your mobile device or by using a camera and streaming software (also referred to as an encoder). If you wish to live stream using a camera and an encoder, you’ll need to broadcast using Live Producer.
To go live from a Page, you need to have Facebook access or task access to create content. To go live: Click What's on your mind, [Name]? at the top of your Feed.
Click Add to your post, then click Live video. Select whether you'd like to Go live or Create live video event. Select a video source, then click Add post details to tag friends, add a feeling or activity, check in to a location, or raise money. Click Go live in the bottom left.
