Previous design has a thumb wheel adjustment mechanism to accomplish this. Can literally be changed by reaching down and turning it up or down from a stop light.

16 paź 2015 · Basically, how do you adjust the clutch engagement point in this car? All previous manuals I've had (Subaru's), there was an adjustment built in the clutch pedal mechanism so you could fine tune where in the travel of the pedal the clutch started to grab.
30 sie 2008 · 4713 posts · Joined 2003. #2 · Aug 30, 2008. prolly what has happened is the cable has stretched, so you need a new one. tell your friend to get a OEM non-adjustable, and use a firewall adjuster to get it where you want it. I've went thru 3 adjustables before i caught on.
