11 lut 2020 · The Desert Eagle Mark IXI in .50 Action Express doesn’t have a lot of real applications. But this is a gun you buy because you want to be able to say you have one. Price is high but so is reliability if you have the strong wrists to back it up.
Totally practical. I open/concealed carried mine all day today, but usually I carry my 44 instead of the 50 because it's easier to re-aim with less muzzle flip. Shoulder holster is the way to go, they're quite comfy. Make sure to keep it clean, 50AE is an especially dirty cartridge and Desert Eagles malfunction when dirty.

Having bought a 454 revolver, I'd say go for the desert eagle in 50 AE if you can afford it. I shot the desert eagle at a range and wanted to pick one up immediately after. Massive fireball, huge boom, but not hard on the hands to shoot.
1 maj 2018 · It is definitely easier if you have large hands to better wrap around the grip. A DE in .44 is VERY manageable, and in .357 they're downright tame. Also, they're amazingly accurate pistols. The weight of the pistols also help keep you steady, making it easier for you to shoot accurately.
