7 wrz 2008 · My spare motor is 0.030 over with the 4.0 head, Crane torquer cam, with the Clifford intake for the 4.0 head. The exhaust is the somewhat stock 4.0 exhaust. Have you ran this combination? How does it perform? Do you happen to have the specs on the Crane cam? Thank you for your imput.
21 paź 2010 · Get a good 4v carb used and rebuild it. You'll get better mpg and performance with a 4v. Also, go with the hedman header and good exhaust. With the money you saved by not going thru Cliff, put that money into the head, where you'll pick up most of your gains.
yes, we set the jets for 6=8 intake and headers. it runs great with stock cams or high performance cams as well. q. what size exhaust pipes do i use with 6=8 headers? a. to create the most torque, we use 2" exhaust pipes. bigger is not better with your inline six. q. is it ok to install a fuel filter before my fuel pump. a.
7 sty 2016 · 2 4's way too much carb for a six. The smallest single 4 barrel is about right. Or the twin 2 barrels. The single 4 barrel works well and is simple. Don't know what advantage there is to twin carbs except tradition.
25 lip 2020 · The 4.2 is well, a glorified tractor motor, I have two of them, both with new carbs and HEI distributors and before I'd drop $1400 on a new carb and exhaust setup I'd go with a Howell or Holley EFI. From what I've read the performance boost is reportedly exaggerated But we'd be happy to hear how it works out for you if you go that way
