27 cze 2022 · The Palatki Heritage Site is an archeological area located within the Coconino National Forest in Arizona. It features rock art and cliff dwellings built by the Sinagua people between 1150-1350 AD. The only way to visit Palatki is with a reservation and guided tour.
6 lip 2022 · This large collection of well preserved cliff dwellings featuring numerous rock art was discovered within an isolated canyon near Sedona, Arizona. Archeologists believe the region was first occupied by the Sinagua who are known ancestors of the Hopi.

Palatki Heritage Site — Sinagua cliff dwellings at base of sandstone cliff. The Palatki Heritage Site is an archaeological site and park located in the Coconino National Forest, near Sedona, in Arizona, United States at approximately 34°54′56″N 111°54′08″W.
Cliff-dwelling ruins. A trio of trails from the visitor center weave among the moonflower and horse nettle to Palatki’s main sites situated in the shadow of Red Canyon’s cliffs. At the top of the steep 0.1 mile Palatki Ruins Trail lie the remains of cliff dwellings built and occupied by the Sinagua between 1100 and 1275 CE.
